M. S in Management Information System (MIS)

Master of Science (MS) Program in Management Information Systems (MIS) focuses on the application of information systems concepts to the collection, storage, and retrieval of information for management decision making and planning. The program blends, theory and practice into a learning experience that develops skills applicable to the complex and changing real-world problems. It intends to prepare individuals to enhance their effectiveness in organizations through knowledge of information processes as instruments for achieving organizational goals. This specialized program also offers students opportunities to develop their skills necessary for corporate IT management and decision-making. Masters of Science (MS) Program in Management Information Systems (MIS) has the following specific objectives: To provide sound theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the application of Information and Communications Technology in Management Decision Making and Planning; To develop competencies necessary for effective management of Information Systems Functions in organizations of both public and business sectors; and To develop the Research and Analytical Skills necessary to study various IT issues.
